As I begin this new chapter at Splendora High School, I'm excited to introduce the incredible leadership team that will serve alongside me. This group brings a wealth of experience, a heart for students, and a shared commitment to excellence. Clay Davis has served in public education since 1996, bringing nearly three decades of experience as a teacher, coach, and campus administrator. Before joining Splendora ISD, he taught and coached at Tatum, Jasper, and Hardin-Jefferson ISDs, where he taught Communications, Leadership, Health, and Physical Education while supporting Life Skills programs. He has also coached basketball, cross-country, tennis, and football. Davis earned a Master's in Educational Administration and principal certification in 2005. He looks forward to supporting students, staff, and the Wildcat community as Associate Principal of Operations at Splendora High School.

Brittany Ricci brings extensive experience in curriculum, instruction, and campus leadership to her new role as Associate Principal of Academics. She most recently served as Humanities Coordinator for Splendora ISD, supporting Social Studies and ELAR instruction across the district. Her previous experience includes Coordinator of Learning Acceleration Initiatives, Assistant Principal, and Instructional Coach/Dean of Instruction. Ricci earned a Master's in Educational Leadership from Lamar University and a bachelor's degree from East Texas Baptist University. She is committed to supporting student achievement, instructional excellence, and continued academic success at Splendora High School.

Laura Wildman has served Splendora ISD since 2008 and brings a wealth of instructional and leadership experience to her role as Associate Principal of Early College High School. She previously served as Elementary STEM Coordinator and has been an Assistant Principal, Director of Professional Learning, Instructional Specialist, and classroom teacher. Wildman earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University. She looks forward to supporting college readiness, student achievement, and opportunities for every student.

Dr. Lee Allen Sr. joins Splendora High School with 25 years of experience in education and educational leadership. Most recently, he served for seven years as an Assistant Principal at Liberty North High School in Liberty, Missouri. Throughout his career, he has also served as a math teacher, Dean of Students, Assistant Athletic Director, coach, and At-Risk Specialist. Dr. Allen earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Kansas, as well as graduate degrees from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. He is passionate about building strong relationships and helping every student succeed.

Ashley Cranney proudly serves as Assistant Principal at Splendora High School and is a proud 2001 graduate of SHS. Since beginning her career in education in 2009, she has served as a science teacher, Secondary Science Instructional Coach, Campus Assessment Coordinator, Dean of Instruction, and Assistant Principal. Cranney earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Science Education from Sam Houston State University and a Master's in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington. Deeply rooted in the Splendora community, she is committed to supporting students, staff, and families while helping every Wildcat reach their full potential.

Shelby Gann is honored to return home to Splendora ISD as Assistant Principal. A second-generation Splendora graduate, she brings 12 years of experience as a teacher, coach, Social Studies Instructional Specialist, and Assistant Principal. Throughout her career, Gann has been dedicated to building strong relationships, supporting student success, and creating a positive school culture. She is excited to partner with students, staff, and families while continuing the tradition of excellence at Splendora High School.

Forrest Patterson brings a diverse educational background and a passion for student success to his role as Assistant Principal. He began his career as an elementary science teacher in Bangkok, Thailand, before teaching science at MacArthur and Atascocita High Schools. In 2023, he joined Splendora ISD as the district's Gifted and Talented Coordinator. Patterson earned his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master's in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Tyler. He is excited to support students and staff while helping foster a positive learning environment at Splendora High School.
