SHS Student ID Guidelines

• All students must wear their ID at all times. IDs on a lanyard should be worn around the neck, and IDs on a clip can be worn on a shirt, in a pocket, or on a belt loop. 
• Students are not permitted to deface their ID cards (stickers, writing, etc.).
• To leave class for any reason, a student must show the teacher their ID. 
• A student who needs a replacement ID card must purchase one for $3.00.
• Students needing a temporary ID must purchase one prior to the start of school for $1 (debt list via SchoolCash). Any temporary ID purchased after the end of the first period of the day will result in consequences.
• Violation count restarts at each 9 weeks

Consequences are as follows:

1. First Violation: Parent contact and After School Detention.
2. Second Violation: Parent contact and Saturday School.
3. Third Violation: Parent contact and 1 day of In-School Suspension (ISS).
4. Fourth Violation: Parent contact and 2 days of In-School Suspension (ISS).
5. Fifth Violation: A new hard copy ID is printed and delivered to the student, and the $3.00 fee is applied.

Note: At any time, a student can purchase a new ID for $3.00.
