A Note From the Principal

October 4, 2026

Dear SHS Parents and Guardians,
College Week was an exciting time at Splendora High School as we encouraged our Wildcats to explore the many opportunities available to them after graduation! SHS juniors and seniors attended a College Fair to connect with college representatives, learn about postsecondary options, and begin envisioning their futures beyond high school. We also Pizza, Pi, and PSAT events to help prepare students for their upcoming PSAT and ACT exams. These experiences help our students make informed decisions about their futures and understand the many possibilities available as they prepare for college, careers, and life beyond the classroom. We want to give a special shoutout to SHS Associate Principal of ECHS, Mrs. Wildman, for designing these meaningful opportunities.
We were also excited to welcome families to Meet the Teacher and the SHS Future Ready Fair! Building strong relationships between our school and families is an important part of supporting student success. We value the opportunity to connect with parents and guardians, share our academic expectations, and highlight the many opportunities available to SHS Wildcats. At Splendora High School, we remain committed to providing high-quality learning experiences that empower every student to grow, discover their strengths, and become life ready. Thank you for partnering with us as we continue to Cultivate Exceptional People and prepare our Wildcats for a successful future!

Get Your Painted Paw Print!

Support Splendora Project Graduation and leave your mark on the path to Dale Martin Memorial Field at Wildcat Stadium! Personalized paw prints are available for individuals, clubs, graduating classes, businesses, and more.
Pricing:
  • $40 for a new paw print design
  • $20 to keep your existing paw print for another year
Paw prints can feature names, clubs, graduation years, or business names and will remain painted for one year.
Order Deadline: Wednesday, October 14
Painting Date: Sunday, October 18
When placing your order, select “View Cart” and use the “Special Instruction” box to enter the wording you would like included on your paw print.

Tee Up for a Great Cause!

Join us for the Splendora ISD Project Graduation 2027 Golf Tournament on Friday, November 13, 2026, at Oakhurst Golf Club! Enjoy a fun day on the course while supporting the Splendora High School Class of 2027 and helping provide a safe, memorable, alcohol-free graduation celebration for our seniors. Gather your friends, family, or coworkers, form a team, and come out to support our Wildcats!

Get ready to celebrate culture, music, style, and Hispanic heritage all week long! Show your spirit and join us October 5–9 for a fun-filled week of themed dress-up days!

Monday, 10/5 – Hispanic Highlight
Wear your bright color to show your spirit.
Tuesday, 10/6 – Jersey Day
Wear any sports jersey.
Wednesday, 10/7 – Tejano Day
Wear your boots, plaid, or cowboy-inspired attire.
Thursday, 10/8 – Hispanic Icon
Dress up as your favorite Hispanic icon.
Friday, 10/9 – Como La Flor
Show up in floral attire.

Help Us Fill the Kitchen for Men (& Women) Who Cook!

Our October 24 fundraiser needs more chef teams, and you don’t have to be a chef—or a Splendora ISD employee—to join the fun. Gather friends, family, or coworkers to prepare a favorite dish and decorate your booth. Teams donate their time, food, and booth décor, helping make the evening a fundraiser for Splendora students and educators. If you know someone who would love to participate, please help us spread the word!  Reach out to Janet Sinclair (Jsinclair@splendoraisd.org) to sign up or for more info!
