A Note From the Principal

September 27, 2026

Homecoming Week always brings an extra dose of Wildcat Spirit to Splendora High School! From our spirit days and exciting activities to the parade, bonfire, pep rallies, and Friday night game, this is a special week for our students, families, and community to celebrate what it means to be a Wildcat. Thank you to our families for all your support in helping make Homecoming Week a memorable experience for our students. These traditions create connections, build school pride, and remind our students that they are an important part of something bigger than themselves.
Beyond the excitement of Homecoming, our school days continue to be filled with high-quality learning experiences and opportunities that prepare our students to be life ready. Every classroom, activity, organization, athletic event, and interaction provides an opportunity for students to grow in knowledge, confidence, responsibility, collaboration, and leadership. We are proud of the many opportunities available at SHS and are grateful for the partnership of our families as we encourage students to attend school every day, be on time, make good choices, and take advantage of all that their high school experience has to offer. We are Connected by Purpose and Driven by Excellence.

AFJROTC Veterans Day 5K

The Splendora High School AFJROTC Booster Club proudly presents the Veterans Day 5K Run & Walk!

Join us as we honor and celebrate the men and women who have served our country. Whether you’re ready to run, prefer to walk, or simply want to come out and support a great cause, we’d love to have you join us!

Participants who register by October 10 will receive a commemorative event dog tag while supplies last!

Wear your most patriotic red, white & blue or represent your favorite military branch with your attire!
Gather your family, grab your friends, lace up your shoes, and come run, walk, and honor those who have served!  
We’ll see you at the starting line!
 

Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat!

It’s Homecoming week, and the Splendora ISD Education Foundation is inviting alumni to show some love for their graduating class through our Class vs. Class giving challenge. Every gift made in honor of a class counts toward its total and helps us support Splendora students and educators. The Class of 2001 is currently in the lead, but there’s still time for another class to rally! 

You can also support the Foundation at Men (& Women) Who Cook on Saturday, October 24, at The Nathaniel Center in Kingwood. It’s a fun evening of food, community, and support for our schools. Tickets go on sale September 24, and we’re still welcoming chef teams, sponsors, and auction donations.
