A Note From the Principal

September 20, 2026

Dear SHS Parents and Families,
It has been a wonderful week filled with high quality learning experiences at SHS! Thank you to every teacher for building positive relationships and designing high quality learning experiences focused on students becoming life ready.
We are thankful for a successful week at EMC Fair! SHS showed up and showed out with many rewards and celebrations! Please know we are proud of every exhibitor! Thank you to SHS AgTeachers for ALL that you do for our sweet students.
We are SUPER EXCITED to move into Homecoming Week filled with Wildcat Spirit! We encourage you to come out and support SHS Wildcats and LadyCats this week. Your support and enthusiasm make these experiences even more meaningful for our students. Let’s fill the week with Wildcat Spirit, pride, and fun as we celebrate our celebrate SHS students, staff, and the Amazing Splendora ISD community!

HOMECOMING WEEK IS NEXT MONTH, WILDCATS!

We are excited to announce this year’s Homecoming Dress-Up Days! Get your gear together, grab your friends, and let’s show everyone that Wildcat Spirit!

Homecoming Week: September 21–25
Monday, 9/21 – Superhero Day
Dress as your favorite superhero and show us your superpowers! (No face masks.)
Tuesday, 9/22 – Twin Day
Find your twin and match from head to toe! Coordinate with a friend and make it a double!
Wednesday, 9/23 – Wildcats Through the Ages
Take a trip through Wildcat history! Wear vintage Wildcat gear or dress in your favorite decade:
50s • 60s • 70s • 80s
Thursday, 9/24 – Jersey Day
Show off your team spirit! Wear your favorite team jersey and represent the team you love!
Friday, 9/25 – Wildcat Spirit
Let’s finish the week with a RED OUT!
Wear your red and white and show everyone what it means to be a Splendora Wildcat!

Please remember:
All attire must follow the SISD Student Handbook dress code. Make sure your outfits are school-appropriate and meet all dress code expectations.
