SHS families, thank you for your continued support of our students, staff, and school! Wildcat Spirit is filling the air at Splendora High School as Football and Volleyball seasons are underway along with Team Tennis and Cross Country! FFA activities and Fine Arts are also both in full swing, and our students continue to represent our school with pride, dedication, and enthusiasm. There is something special about seeing our Wildcats come together, support one another, and make memories that will last well beyond their high school years.
Parent Conferences are available and may be scheduled with your student's teachers in person or virtually. Please reach out to your child's teacher through email or Parent Square. Let him/her know you would like to schedule a conference, and the teacher will work with you to set up a 15 minute conference. The teacher will confirm your scheduled time and provide virtual meeting information if you choose to meet virtually.
We are grateful for the parents and families who show up, cheer loudly, encourage our students, and partner with us in creating a school culture where students feel connected, supported, and inspired to be their best. Thank you for being an important part of the Wildcat family! The best is yet to come, and we are excited for all that this school year holds.

Parents,
We Need You! High school is a critical time in a student's educational journey, and your involvement can make a lasting difference. Splendora High School invites parents and guardians of Emergent Bilingual students to serve on the Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC). As an LPAC member, you will help make important decisions about students' language support services, academic progress, and program placement, ensuring they receive the resources they need to succeed. Your voice matters because you represent not only your child, but also many students and families throughout our school community. Meetings are brief—typically about 15 minutes —and many can be conducted over the phone, making participation convenient and flexible for busy families. By volunteering your time, you are helping shape a brighter future for our students and ensuring they have every opportunity to achieve academic success. Your involvement today can make a lifelong impact on their future.
For more information or to become an LPAC parent representative, please contact Nurian Aparicio, LPAC Clerk, at 281-689-4395 or naparicio@splendoraisd.org. You may also sign up at the link provided: Language Proficiency Assessment Committee
