Splendora High School Parking Spot Selection Process

Parents and Students:

In an effort to remain transparent with our stakeholders, we want to share the following information regarding our parking situation at Splendora High School. The high school campus currently has 420 parking spots.  Of those 420 spots, we must reserve 185 spots for faculty, staff, and visitors.  That leaves 235 parking spots for students.  We understand this is not ideal and have worked to implement a process that will allow us to issue the student spots efficiently and fairly.  The information below is how parking spots will be issued for the 2026-2027 school year.

Parking Permit Purchase Dates:

Seniors:  Purchasing opens July 22, 2026

Seniors/Juniors:  Purchasing opens August 1, 2026

All Students:  Purchasing opens August 8, 2026

***Spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis.  When 235 have been filled we will send out communication that spots are no longer available.***

Senior Parking Spot Design Process:

Designs should be emailed for approval to Mr. Patterson by August 5, 2026:  fpatterson@splendoraisd.org

Design approval will be communicated no later than August 7, 2026.

***No painting can take place prior to receiving approval***

A QR code for permit purchases and painting registration will be sent out on the corresponding dates listed above.

Parking spots are $50. All necessary information regarding parking will be in the packet that will be provided once registration opens.
