Splendora High School is committed to maintaining a policy of safety and respect regarding transportation and parking. Students will be expected to abide by all state, county, city, school traffic laws, and regulations at all times. The following guidelines have been established to promote this policy. Parking on campus is a privilege that can be denied or revoked by the Administration. Students who fail to adhere to the rules and regulations below may have their parking privileges suspended or revoked.
A student must present a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance to be eligible for a parking permit. Students must request a parking permit and pay a fee of $30.00 to park in a school parking lot. So long as space is available, parking permits may be issued throughout the year.
Students will not be permitted to:
- Speed;
- Double-park;
- Park across a white or yellow line;
- Park in a fire lane;
- Sit in parked cars during school hours.
Students may be subject to disciplinary action for violation of these rules. The district may tow cars that are parked in violation of these rules.
